Algas Engineering has been operating in the field of gas piping for the past 10 years and has always sought improvements in productivity and management. We were asked to create a new logo and its complementing stationary to display a more powerful brand image.

 

Led by a father-son team, their dualism inspired us to create an identity that would reflect both strength and flexibility. This resulted in multiple forms of duality; angular VS curved shapes, two shades of red, modern visuals VS traditional concepts. Melding the two sides are the core elements – a triangle that represents fire in alchemy and a semblance of the taijitu within the curves of the two shapes.

 

The brand elements were kept to a minimum to ensure future deliverables can be easily adapted, relying on the logo to reflect the unique dynamics of Algas Engineering. Angled shapes and curved lines using the two corporate colours keep the stationary visually cohesive.
